Contact
A person at a customer or company — the human you actually talk to.
Overview
A Contact is an individual at an organization — a name, email, phone, and labels. Contacts hang off a Client or a Company, and one is marked primary. Each contact carries its own relationship stage independent of the organization's, so a contact can be Disqualified at a company that is otherwise a Client. Beyond the basics they hold an owner, a source, secondary email addresses, and a marketing-email consent state — Subscribed, Unsubscribed, or Bounced — so you always know who you're allowed to email. Contact email addresses are unique across your workspace: adding one that already exists surfaces the existing contact rather than creating a duplicate. A spreadsheet import creates or matches companies and lands people on the right record in one pass; on a client, the Contacts tab also suggests people at the same domain — unassigned contacts, and addresses that appear in email traffic — so you can add the rest of a company's people without typing their addresses. Notes, documents, and logged emails can all be attached to a specific contact.
